What happens next in this book is that Lilly when Lilly went home that night she didn't ask her mom if she knew why she got off early that day, she asked if she knew if he was working on any projects up stairs. Her mom replied and said no why? Lilly just said she was wondering because she didn't want her mom to go up there and ask him, incase he decided not to work on whatever he was doing anymore so her and Cassandra could still figure out what was going on. That night right before Lilly was going to bed she heard something in her room. She ran in and didn't see anyone but noticed all her drawers were open. she checked all of them to see if they were missing anything but she didn't notice anything gone. She walked into her bathroom to brush her teeth and when she came back all of them were closed as they were that morning when she left for school. She called for her mom and asked if she did it and her mom said no. 

What i think is going t happen next is that someone's going to sneak into Lillys room and shes going to catch them.
